Where to go for half term

Hi. DS and I moved to east yorkshire last year and so far we've only visited York and Bridlington.

Where can we go for a day out during half term? Week starting 20th February.

I don't drive but I do have my family railcard so it needs to be somewhere with good rail links?

Any ideas anybody?

scarborough, there is a sealife centre at the end of the beach, the usual arcades, a tram that goes up and down the hillside,

The Deep in Hull. Tons better than the sealife centre in Scarborough. Although February half term is probably theri busiest week.

Having reread you post it might not be busy as half term round here is this week. (South Yorkshire)
