Which small festival?

Anybody know anything about the Green Man festival, or can recommend any other weekenders? We've been to Larmer Tree a few times and love it but can't make it this year. I like the idea of Big Chill but DH thinks it looks a bit commercial, and it's obviously much bigger than Larmer Tree (which is about 5,000 people or so?). Also LT seems so undruggy compared to others, it's basically a sort of nomadic version of Crouch End.
Any comments or recommendations?

DH went to the Big Green Gathering and said it was a really good festival as not commercial and lots of families but I have not been myself.

Big, but family friendly is WOMAD (world of music & dance) in Reading every Summer, has acts from all over the world - and is now televised. Loads of activities for all ages.

Well it's not small but D and I took Lottie to the Big Chill last summer and we loved it. Really loved it.

We took ds to The Big Chill last summer aged 10 months. He loved it. It is quite big but that means there are good facilities. We'll be going again this summer. Loads of kids there.
