MIL was going to book a cruise to Norway for her and FIL.. FIL is 82 and had a quadrupal heart by pass about 3 years ago. MIL is 69 and has high blood pressure..

the trip was going to cost about £2000
and they have just found out the insurance was going to be £1000...

do you think she has got this right!!

what insurance group do you use??
I'm afraid I haven't been abroad for years and I don't have a clue what to advice them!!

Your Mil should be ok as I think it only increases at 70. My mum used to use the Post Office but has changed now she has gone over that, not sure who to, but I think she is still paying less than £100 for a 3 week cruise. As a one off £1000, even for both, does sound a lot. Is it a Saga cruise as they do hike up the premiums so I'm told.

thanks....

I will give her these insurers...
does she have to declare his diverticulits and sciatica, and things like that as well?

MIL is worried that he's going to die on the cruise and she needs to have extra insurance to fly the body home... or she'll be force to have a burial at sea..
