Holiday companies with kids clubs - Italy. Help!

Can anyone recommend any holiday companies that offer hotels with good kids facilities and morning clubs in Italy? Children are 8, 6 and 2.

I have no idea where to start... so any recommendations welcome. We don't want a villa as we'd prefer there were other children around for ours to make friends with (always the favourite part of their holidays!). Thanks!

For english speaking, You could try Eurocamp/Keycamp/Canvas - but that of course means Mobile Homes rather than hotels. www.portofelice.it has a variety of bungalows and lots going on including kids clubs. It has come highly recommended by other MNetters. Crystal Holidays do hotels with kids clubs in Italy - but they are probably mainly italian speaking.

www.delphina.it have a selection of places in Sardinia that are kid friendly - most have mini clubs. We stayed at Cala di Falco a few years back. Club Med have a couple in Italy. or Sicily?

Villa Pia

We went to Parc Albatros with Canvas in 2010 - great kids clubs - and lots going on all the time. The pool complexes are fab. All the main companies have mobiles there.

Or maybe think about agriturismos where you get an apartment but are guaranteed lots of other families.

Or Citalia have a good selection if your budget is on the higher side.

Can't remember the name, but read something in sunday times about a Forte resort in sicily which is really set up for holidays with kids in comfort!

Are you thinking of Forte Village in Sardinia, monkeypuzzletree?
Also good is Borgo Eganazia in the south of Italy.

monkeypuzzeltree · 01/02/2012 10:15

Forte Vedura resort is its name on Sicily.

Borgo Eganazia looks great, but we are a family of 5 and would have to pay extra for youngest, too as she's 2 and requires a supplement in the kids club. So estimate not much change out of 8k for a week - eep! Need to almost cut that in half...
