Just wondering if anyone can recommend a holiday like Duinrell? My kids loved it there and I did too but I don't usually go to the same places twice so was wondering if there is anything else out there like it?

Hijack alert! What was it like? I'm thinking of going this year. Would it be good for 9 and 13yr old dd's?

Hope someone more useful comes along soon Smile

What about Slagharen or De Efteling?

Crunchbag, i've not heard of those but will look into them - thanks very much :-)

Hairypotter, I liked it for lots of reasons: it was about 3.5 hours from Calais so travellable with young kids (mine were 2, 4 and 7 at the time); the park was good for my family as there was a variety of different types of rides, we saw families of all ages so i'd imagine your children would like it; it was not too big so your kids, if you wanted them to, could go off on their own and would be safe and not lose their bearings etc, the swimming pool in the evening was fab, the best variety of indoor slides that I have seen (not been to America so can't compare with USA); we went in April so saw the tulip fields in bloom; it was near a beach and a small town that had cafes and shops/supermarket etc; near a larger town, Leiden, with a bit more going on and commutable to Amstrerdam (we went for a day trip); the facilities were good (clean and warm, it was April!); there was a Pancake Restaurant right near the camp (my kids LOVE pancakes!).

I would recommend it for sure, I looked at a week after May Bank Holiday in a mobile home and for 5 of us including the ferry with Eurocamp it was £350 which you can't beat for value really Wink
