We're off to Gran Canaria next week with LO - any tips for feeding, making bottles, etc while away? Or for the flights? Slightly panicking now and wishing we'd not been so brave as to try a holiday this early!

we went to florida with a 6 month old so dont worry - you will be fine. Good things to have are lightweight stroller and feeding wise what i did was ise those little formula powder portion tub thingys - not sure what they are called but mothercare do them, it means you can out fresh boiled cooled water in your bottles and then just add the correct amount of powder when needed. For sterilising, if you have a microwave in your accomodation the lindam microwave sterilising bags are perfect, they take up littlke room and each one can be used 20 times. Hope this helps.

There was a thread just like this a couple of days ago and everyone agreed there had never been any problems with little babies and hoidays in fact it gets harder as they get older. Personaly i'd recomend reusable swimming nappies if your going in the pool rather than disposable ones.

When we first took ds2 abroad I bought some of those ready made cartons of milk for travelling and when we first arived at resort. This meant we had milk if needed during the flight and that when we arrived at resort we didnt have to panic about making bottles up in time for next feed.

SMA sachets were good I think I took a suitcase full. Used sterilising tablets in a big bottle to.
