hotel with interconnecting rooms near bath/taunton/exeter?

looking for a halfway stopover between london and cornwall. ds is a very light sleeper so would prefer him to be in a separate room with a door in to us. anyone know of anywhere? thanks.

there is a holday inn on the roundabout a junction 27 of M5

Loads of hotels in Bath but that is only 2 hours form LOndon.
