Suggestions for late summer family hols

Hey all, Does anyone have any suggestion on places to go for summer holidays. I haven't the foggiest where to start looking. Ideally we are looking for a villa, which is close enough to a beach, and plenty of things for a 2yr old toddler to do in and around village. Can anyone suggest any places? xx

Gosh there are so many options.
Majorca is nice to go to for a first family holiday abroad with a little one. We went to Puerto Pollensa and it has a promenade and a market square with restaurants around it so it seemed ideally suited for a young family. If you check out www.villaplus.com they have some nice villas.
