Has anyone done this with kids?
We are looking at up to 3 weeks in August in a motorhome in the USA and or Canada, with 4 kids aged 4-10.
If you did this, where would you go and what would you do?
Any ideas welcome.

Hi FiveHoursSleep, yes we did this with kids, but over 10 years ago now. First time, picked up RV in Los Angeles, toured round California in particular Yosemite National Park.
Second time picked up RV in Vancouver, and drove through the Rockies to finish in Calgary.
The Canada trip definitely had more kid-oriented things - Vancouver Island beaches, aquarium in Vancouver, zoo in Calgary, dinosaur park a couple of hours east of Calgary.
There are loads of campgrounds, we didn't even bother pre-booking. Petrol was a bit of a shock as these big RVs get through it very quickly. For 6 of you the RV will be pretty big, and you might want to double-check the number of seatbelts provided.
