Borneo with kids?

Sorry, couldn't work out whether to put this in short or long haul, I'd class it as medium haul!
But has anyone been to Borneo with kids? We are looking at August. We went to Sri Lanka last year and loved it, and fancied something similar but not the same.
Kids will be 10, 9, 6 and 4.

I can't see a problem. My friend lives there with her two children who were Borneo there.

I went to Borneo pre-dc and it was as safe and easy as any other Asian country. Probably best to stick to the Malaysian parts rather than the Indonesian parts.
