PILs want to go away with us later in the year...needs to be in school hols.

We dont have much to spend on this holiday, but obv costs will be shared.

Is it possible to rent a nice villa to sleep 6 a 2 hour flight max away for a week and not bankrupt oneself????

TIA!

I was thinking Palma as loads of accommodation and cheap flights (just over 2 hrs at 2hrs15?) Found a lovely villa for £500 + flights Majorca
Does that fit what you were looking for? I was not sure how old the children were? Plenty of others on there, or Barcelona perhaps thats 2 hrs flight

Villa Servers have some lovely villas in Moraira, Spain...I'm not sure how warm it will be in Oct but should be ok? Its an easy flight to alicante and Moraira is a lovely little town with a lovely beach and most villas have a pool too.

Wouldn't go Majorca if you're hoping for sun, can be lucky but october often quite rainy.

Need to be further south so Algarve, Costa del sol would be better, longer flights though, about 3 hrs.

October can be a bit dodgy for Spain/Majorca, we went to la Manga once in October and whilst we had a good time weather wasn't hot enough to sun bathe and it kind of spoilt the holiday. We have been to Tenerife for 2 years running and just booked for this October, weather is perfect mid to low twenties, flight is obviously longer but not ridiculously so.

Nice area is near Costa Adeje close to the Del Duque beach, if you check the normal sources i.e. owners direct etc should find some reasonably priced villas.
