Hi all thinking of a break for half term and looking at flights to Tenerife anda self catering villa with car hire which is coming in at around £1500 plus spending money. Any other ideas would be very welcome!!

We can go for up to 1 week and would consider UK...Sun...snow...cities!!

DD is 9 yrs.

Anything a bit cheaper would be good...don't really want to pay any more. Just looking for a week of quality family time before DH starts new job.

Thanks!!

How about sun and snow!

Feb half term would ber perfect for skiing in the Sierra Nevada near Granada. Fly into Malaga then drive up to the mountains - about an hour or so drive I think. Have a few days skiing then drive to the coast and have a few days on the beach. Then fly back from Malaga.

Friends have done this when we had a group ski holiday and can confirm the beaches are lovely and warm even when the mountains are full of snow.

Eurodisney? We went at Xmas and had so much fun with the kids....you wouldn't want a week there mind, but you could combine it with Paris?
