Suggestions for 4 nights in Majorca pre cruise.

I am looking for suggestions for nice hotels and areas in Majorca for 4 nights in August. My children will be 12 and 13 and I would like to stay near a beach. I stayed in the Albufera area a few years and visited quite a lot of the area as had a car so would prefer another area.

Do you want to be close to the port?

How about Cala Millor on the east coast. It's got a great beach and has the Caves du Drach nearby which are amazing for tour round.

I always bang on about Palma itself. Such a cool city. Don't know about the beach but we had a fantastic pool and spent 3 happy days here after a cruise!
We stayed at the Augusta apartments which were a good walk from Palma maybe 20mins/half an hour but close enough and had a massive shopping mall about 5 mins walk down the road. The cruise ship was about 20 min walk although we got a taxi there.
