Lake Garda

I am looking for some lake garda experts! I am travelling to Lake Garda in July with my family (DP, step daughters (teenagers) and son (infant).

We are staying in Peschiera and need to get to Malcesine for a wedding - does anyone know if we can get a ferry - or a water taxi - or a normal taxi/transfer. We are also travelling with a friend who has a DP and 2 little ones.

I am consious that we will have 3 under 4s , 2 stroppy teenagers and 2 grumpy DPs to consider that I want to make it as painless as possible!! :)

any ideas??

The boat would probably be a couple of hours (last year the 9.10 got to Malcesine at 11.35) as it zigzags up and down the lake. There will be a bus service around the lake or you could get a taxi but allow a good hour at least as traffic can be awful. Can't see the summer timetables online yet.

thanks LIZS - i have got a few prices from private transfer companies - i am getting the feeling that will be the easiest option.
