Hi Everyone - this is a long shot but I have a holiday booked for the 11th Feb 2012 to Tenerife All Inclusive 07nights from manchester and my husband has broken his leg and now we cant go ! The travel agent said that our only option is to change the names and sell it to someone else it was for a family of 4 and was £2500 but we will take less
If anyone is interested I can give you more details

You could try sell it on eBay?

Will your travel insurance not cover it?

If you booked with a tour operator check the T&C as you might be able to rebook for a later date or be entitled to some kind of a refund ( a percentage) but move quickly as some operators use 30 days as a cut off some 20 depending on what hotel / type of holiday etc
Your travel insurance should also cover the cost of the lost holiday less the excess.
Has your travel agent spoken to the operator ?

Do you have a Nationwide Flex account? They have travel insurance included.
