Hi we went to Begmeil its small, great kids club, walk to beach, lots of cycle paths. What sort of hols are you looking for?

Yes we stayed with key camp , further south. We had a great holiday , used the PGL activities for dd in the morning and then kayaking and days out in the afternoon. One of my favourite holidays ever

DCs are 4,3 and baby so happy with beaches and pools. I like the accommodation to be clean, safe and warm but otherwise not too fussed. We also want to take my parents, they will get get separate accommodation, and need it to be somewhere my mum can get around, she sometimes uses a mobility scooter.

Begmail would be great for that, the reason we chose it was because DD has disabilities, and we took a trailer with our bikes and her adult sized trike. Really safe, accessible and friendly. Not the most exciting place but thats not what we were after!
The caravan tiering system works well- the basic is just that, the luxury ones lots more padded, better layout, more space etc.

We do this type of holiday most years. Top tip - always go for the biggest.highest spec. mobile you can afford. It is always worth the extra. Some of the basic models you can't swing a cat in. And depending on the pitches it might be worth getting decking too.

You can't go wrong with either Eurocamp or Keycamp. Both have very good pitches, accommodation and customer service and they both have some of the best and most popular campsites in France.
If you're looking for somewhere really close to the ports and in Northern France, you can't go wrong with Les Mouettes. I have been there with three children, two under 5's along with another family with kids about the same ages and all of them loved it from the moment we got there to the moment we left. Take a look at the Mumsnet review there are several people who think the same as we do or try this review for size.
