Any ideas for activity holiday?

Budget £2k max for 4 people for 2 weeks

Any activities, really, we're not fussy.

I fancy the Frecnh Alps, or Pyrrhenees, but accept it might have to be Wales.

Have you thought about Poland? We did a holiday in Zakopane a while back and it was fantastic - and cheap!

Eg £1000 would get you 2 weeks in August here There are many cheaper options too. Ryanair flights would be roughly £500.

Eating (and drinking) is inexpensive and there are loads of restuarants.

Zakopane itself has an aquapark
There is Quad biking, rafting through the dunajec gorge - this was fabulous.

There is a funicular and a cable car taking up into the mountains for lots of easyish walking. You can get a get a horse drawn carriage or walk to [[http://www.travbuddy.com/Morskie-Oko-v274470 Morskie Oko Lake for stunning scenery. You can rent bikes.
