Hi All

Im planning our DD's first little break away over Easter (she will be 4 months old by then), we are looking at the Isle of Wight and wondered if anyone has stayed there with a baby before and how practical that is likely to be.

Does anyone have any recommendations for Hotels and sightseeing?

Thanks all

Nigel

Sounds fabulous. I'd suggest you go self catering in a caravan or chalet/cottage -so much easier with a small baby to have more space. You can still eat out if you don't want to cook after all.

All the island is lovely and relaxed.

The only other thing I'd say is don't go in school easter holidays if you don't have to- it'll be far nicer and cheaper before or after the crowds have gone.

I would also go for self catering many properties have high chairs and travel cots so you don't need to take that stuff. There are many many places where you can walk with a push chair and lots of lovely parks etc. Nearly all places to eat are very child friendly. I would also echo avoiding Easter it will be very busy with families with school age children and almost double the price of May and June. Often in June the weather is really good and you can sit on some of the lovely sandy beaches like Ryde and Sandown.
