I think Fitzwillies has reopened now - amazing self-made Chelsea buns as recommended by Steven Fry.

Punting! it's not too cold here at the mo, and the colleges from the backs are stunning. you can choose to punt yourself or get a guided tour. And you can take a cheeky bottle of fizz or three into the punt with you if you so wish Grin

Oh and try the eagle pub on Bene't st (just off King's parade), lots of history there. Check out the ceiling in the back bar, lots of rat and us airmen from the 2nd ww burned their names and messages in the ceiling for posterity, very moving.

it also does very large buckets glasses of wine Grin

rat? obviously RAF Blush

Nice view from the top of Great St Mary's tower.
Kings College Chapel is worth a look, as are lots of the central colleges.

For vegetarians/vegans (or people who like unusual food) the Rainbow Cafe on Kings Parade is GREAT.

If the weather is decent punting or the walk to Grantchester could be nice. The Orchard Tea Garden is apparently lovely for afternoon tea.

If you are marvellously rich the Midsummer House has 2 michelin stars or something.

There are loads of curry houses -the one on Castle Street has a good reputation.

There is also an Arts Picturehouse Cinema, Corn Exchange has stuff on, Arts Theatre and ADC theatre
