Thinking about a few days in Guernsey with 2 kids aged 7 and 5 in the feb half term- anyone got any tips or ideas of places to go?

HAving spent a very cold and wet fortnight there two summers ago, I would not recommend it for the winter! Very little to do in high season dread to think what it would be like then. Sorry!

It will be closed and cold. go in the summer but not in feb!! Have a best friend from there and thats what she always says too so not just a "bad holiday" bias. also sorry!!

Thanks for replies-my husband has just got a job there 4 days a week so I thought we might go out and save him the trip back. Maybe we should wait for warmer weather!

It is cold and wet and often fog bound. The planes will not take off. I well remember two hours on the tarmac waiting for fog to lift over Guernsey. I would not recommend a very rough Seacat crossing out of Weymouth either.

We went to a wedding which took place in Guernsey in Feb '08 on Valentine's day. We had about 5 days there in total and had beautiful sunny days for the whole trip! It was so lovely that we seriously considered moving over there in fact. Maybe it was just a freak weather moment....
