Hi there,

With the festive season out the way it's time to explore our holidays. Does anyone know of any good locations to holiday with a 1 year old? So far we've only travelled on the overnight ferries to the UK but I'm thinking of something further, maybe a plane. We are not a huge fan of holiday resorts but I realise that might have to change now with a toddler. As it's our first baby we're not familiar with baby friendly trips, locations, resorts etc.

Appreciate your advice, would really like to book something so I have something to look forward to!

Thanks!

We stayed in the UK until ours were a bit older as we whimped out from the whole finding food they liked, child friendly bit until we were sure they wouldnt wander off! Others may say differently but all mine wanted was a beach to dig on and some animals to look at so we found various child friendly hotels and cottages in the UK. awaywiththekids.com is a good website to look at and our fav place is wringworthy holiday cottages near to Looe. also have heard good things about Mark Warner hols but it depends on your budget.
