DH is very keen to go on holiday in the next few weeks. DS will have had his second set of vaccinations, so I'm aware he's not fully covered for a range of diseases. I want to postpone (which would mean indefinately as we have no time to go after this month), he thinks I'm mad! DS is exclusively breastfed so no issues with water etc. DH wants to stay in an all-inclusive type place too. Not my idea of a good holiday but hey ho! But not sure if this is better or worse than alternative accomodation re risk.

I'm not PFB (he's our second) but am concerned and DH is chomping at the bit to book it....

We took DD to Tenerife when she was 3 months old and it was fine. We didn't think twice about it nor about the vaccination issue. The chances of your DS catching anything are remote (and the same as in the UK). So I say go for it! We had a great holiday, 3 months is a great age, not crawling, no issues with food/eating etc.

I took my DD to Turkey at 8 weeks and she hadn't had any of her vaccinations. Book your holiday or you wont get to go at all! As your baby is BF you will have no issues with water or sterlilising.

You will have a great time. Don't worry!
