cheap fun day out with a two year old?

hiya, After all the xmas spending we have been doing i really fancy taking the LO out to do something as we have been in the house since xmas playing with tiys, making thank you cards etc but not sure where to go or what to do?
any ideas welcome.

nature walk,
make a map / bingo type thing of things to spot.
fun, free and outside!
