We're taking dd 17mth to centre parcs for some chill out time as a family - been a horrid year last year and need some family time together.

Anyone got any tips for the centre parcs at oasis whinfell? we're staying in a two bedded cottage. Thanks

Book a massage/treatment before you go as they book up quickly. hydrotherapy bit is fab. Good horse riding too if you fancy. There has recently been a Centreparcs thread with loads of advice on if you do a search

Hi
I live near oasis. If you get bored in centre parcs there are other local things to do. Penrith is a nice town if you want to do for a wander and there is an indoor soft play area there called noah's ark (over the road from the co-op above the spar). There's Eden Ostrich world and Wetheriggs Pottery not too far away. Of course Lake Ullswater is only 7 or so miles away where you can go on the steamer, keswick is nice too. Neither towns have high street shops but are both nice for a bag of chips and local shops (if you like that sort of thing). I've heard oasis supermarket type shop is expensive so you may want to stop at somerfield or morrisons before you get there. If anyone has any questions i'd be happy to help.

Take bike locks, and plastic bags to put over your saddles over night....or else get wet bottoms!
Book at the restaurants and avoid the italian, terrible service.
Our all round fave is the rock legends.
where are you staying, do you know ir you are near the centre?
