I am looking for a gite complex type thing but in Greece, any ideas?

Or any warm sunny place in Europe except France really. DSD goes to her GPs house in France with her mum every year so we don't want to replicate, but we love the idea of a gite complex style accomodation, other people around but not a hotel.

We enjoyed this place in Lemnos, they are apartments although breakfast is included so it's a bit hotel like, what features are you looking for and what about a hotel are you looking to avoid?

we stayed in an apartment in a hotel this year and as we were SC and there are 6 of us it was a bit cramped. We liked Kalamaki but it was a little too commercial for us.

Quiet. 5 mins walk from beach, 3/4 tavernas in walking distance plus a little old village if you are up for walking further and uphill! Other than that driving is needed, 10 mins to the pretty capital Myrina. There are other beaches and villages and the odd site but there's not much else on the island, it's a relaxing destination!
