Need a recommendation for family-friendly hotel in Amsterdam

Off to Amsterdam for the weekend at the beginning of Feb to visit my sister and need to book somewhere reasonably priced that is good for kids (5, 2.5 and 5 months). Needs to be in Jordaan district or near to Anne Frank's House. Any ideas?

Have you thought of trying to hire a flat? If you google it you can sometimes find really beautiful apartments that cost almost less than a hotel room would and you get a better feel of how the dutch really live. You can get these for weekend lets.

Have a look at www.tripadvisor.com. A great site for "real" reviews of hotels etc.
