Devon/Cornwall - where should we go? Want to stay right by the sea

We've never been and are planning a holiday with baby + toddler late June/early July this year (not during school hols). Thanks for the self-catering recommendations - we've got a few brochures and sites but need to decide which is the best bit in order to choose a cottage. Thanks

It's a huge huge area with lots of lovely places to stay and see. My favourite bit is Penzance and St. Ives, but others may have different views
