first choice hol village - best one in your opinion is?

really tempted to go to one due to facilities etc... School Summer hols in 2012 which would you recommend and why?

I'd like to know too! We are going to the tenerife one in february and considering another in September. Research tells me so far that Rhodes is good and Menorca which opens this year has had a lot of cash invested into it.

We stayed last August at the complex in Menorca that is about to become the new holiday village so I can't comment on what the new facilities will be like, but the pools, rooms and restaurant were great. Whilst it wasn't a Holiday Village, it was a Tui family resort so there were kids club rooms and cabins and a nice play park with a bouncy castle.

There isn't a huge amount to do in Cala'n Bosch but there is enough and you are really close to Citadella (bus stop outside complex) for a nice day or evening out (we went in the evening when it was cooler and had dinner).

Bump too! We drove past the one in playa la arena, Tenerife and facilities looked good, but at the top of a steep hill to get up and down to the beach, so less than ideal for push chairs

I'm interested in this too. I've been to the one at the red sea in Egypt for the last 2 Christmas'. Had a fantastic time and would definitely go back but looking for somewhere for summer 2012 and Egypt will just be too hot in mid-summer.
