Looking for 2 week holiday in early Feb.

Needs to have kids club (he's 3.7yrs).

Needs to be a restorative holiday - don't want to do much other than read, sunbathe, swim, eat, and relax and do a bit of walking.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks, DHW

Hi dhw
As you probably know, many kids clubs start from age 4 so you might need to consider somewhere like Club Med, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic (Petit Club Med for 2-3 year olds) or Club St Lucia by Splash in St Lucia (baby club from 3 months to 3 years) or Turtle Beach Resort, Barbados (club starts from age 3) or Almond Village Beach Resort, Barbados (Mini Club aged 2-4) or FDR Resort (fdrholidays.com) in Jamaica where you get your own Nanny! Beaches Resorts (ie Sandals & Beaches) have baby clubs too at some of their hotels In Jamaica and Turks & Caicos I think. Gala Resort, Playacar, Mexico (kids club from age 2). Also check out Riu Merengue in the Dominican Republic.
Of that lot I've stayed at Turtle Beach Resort and Gala Resort and had favourable experiences with their respective kids clubs.
Always check on Tripadvisor.com for recent guest reviews and the Travel with Kids website might be useful.
I'm sure there are many other

We are just about to book a 2 bed villa at St James Club, Antigua. Think it has a kids club though not a priority for us. But looks good and with a direct Virgin flight. We will be going (if we do book) with dd1 who is the same age as your ds and a 2 year old. We seen it initially with Meon Villas but think its in the virgin brochure too. The rep at Meon villas seem to think it was a very child friendly resort.

Oh forgot to add that if we go it will be the last week of April. Think weather is good most of the year there,

Sunsail's Colonna resort in Antigua? Very good, and won the Sunday Times best childrens' resort (or something like that) last year.

I stayed in the FDR resort in Jamaica. You do get your own nanny. It was fabulous!

All inclusive, lovely food, nanny can also cook for you in your villa, lots of great educational and fun activities for the children, including their own special food and tea-times.

Parents can eat out on piers over the ocean. . People walk around the pool bringing you more free drinks. Bliss, absolute bliss.
