Can anyone recommend somewhere to have a meal and a bit of a play near Oxford?

friends of ours live in Birmingham, we live in Surrey. We've got a 2 year old and so have they. We've also got a 4 year old and we'd like to meet up in the Oxford area for lunch and a chat. Any ideas of somewhere nice, family friendly and with maybe even a bit of space for ds to run around in if the weather's ok?

If weather less inspiring, Living Rainforest near Newbury a good bet (think it's open at this time of year). Otherwise national trust at Waddesdon is prob roughly equal travel time (depending where in Surrey you are), waterperry gardens (again would need to check open in nov)

My dc weren't too impressed by the Living Rainforest which is unusual as this sort of thing is usually right up their street.

Below are some sites which may give you a general over view of what's available, hope they help.
