I think it depends who you are booking with ie. Thomas Cook or DLP direct.

When we have booked with a travel agent we have always been able to pay a deposit when we book, unless the travel date is so soon that they want payment in full straight away.

If you book direct with DLP over the phone you pay 30%

Hi,
If you book online you pay the whole amount. If you book over the phone with Disney a non refundable deposit of 10% is required of the total booking cost for bookings made more than 60 days before arrival.
The deposit may be higher if including insurance or transportation.

I recently paid £ 55 deposit for a trip costing £ 440 which includes flights.

Disney will automatically debit the same card with the balance when it is due 60 days before arrival, unless you are using a Maestro or Solo card, inwhich case you have to remember to phone them.

Travel Agents take a deposit, and mine usually calls me when the balance us due so I can go in and pay the balance, or pay it over the phone.
