Le Chateau di Ligny in France.

FAB food, gorgeous chateau and it is where DH took me for our first anniversary.

Stay in England and go to Manoir Quat Saisons.

Hotel Santo Mauro in Madrid - very gorgeous and sexy and glam

La Colombe D'Or in Saint Paul de Vence near Nice, it's not very glam more like an old farmhouse but very romantic and beautiful, it used to house artists who paid for the meals with paintings so you might find yourself eating next to a Picasso...

Look at the Mr and Mrs Smith Europe book. I loved the UK one for ideas.

thanks for suggestions - anniversary is 17 February. Have looked at Mr & Mrs Smith - I'm bewildered by choice!! Am thinking staying in blighty may be less stressful and we could go for a really glam hotel.
