Can anyone help with holiday ideas please?

Now that Christmas is out of the way I want to book a summer holiday for DD and I.

I'm just looking for suggestions really as I'm not sure where to go.

I have been on holiday with her quite a lot on my own, but have never been abroad on my own with her, so I want to give that a go.

Ideally, I would like somewhere warm, nice beach, lots of things to do, but not 18-30ish iykwim.
Somewhere where there will be enough to do and I won't feel a bit odd on my own. Nice pool too!

I don't mind how long the flight is, but i would quite like a short transfer to resort/hotel if posible as DD is a crap traveller.

So, anyone want to make a suggestion, where have you been that you really liked...looking at the begining of July for a week. DD will be 5.

especially Cala D'or or Puerto Pollenca. palma nova is ok aswell, nice beach and short transfer.

other than that menorca is also a great kiddie friendly destination.
