DS has an inset day coming up so I'm going to make the most of it just being us and in term time and going to take him to London.
I haven't been to the TOL in 20yrs so rather fancy a visit. DS seems to have spent all of his first term at school making swords and shields so a tour around the Royal armoury would be on the list.
Is the queue for the Crown Jewels quite long, DS won't be that bothered with it so I'm not going to waste time if it's still slow going. I'd like to see the stolen diamonds though.
Can you still go in the Bloody Tower and see the writing scratched into the walls? Have never forgotten it since I first went with junior school 20 yrs ago.
Are there any scary bits about executions that we need to scoot around and avoid the details?
TIA.
