Sunday Out between Barnsley and Newark

We will be in the area for a family party next weekend and will have Sunday to spend in that area. We will have three of the DC - DS2-14, DD1-12 and DD2-9.

Does anyone have any recommendations for us that would make three DC in that age range happy?

Thanks in advance!

Cannon Hall Farm is nice and has a super adventure playground.

Magna is in that sort of area too and is very interesting.

Thank you for responding. Magna looks perfect and I think that's what we'll do.

if you go to Magna make sure you wrap up warm - is a huge building and can be very cold.

Cannon Hall is better for younger children. I think a 14 year old would find it rather dull. If the weather is grim then Magna is a good option, or the Weston Park museum in Sheffield (opposite the children's hospital) which is fabulous - you can get a tram in from Meadowhall. If the weather is good the Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster is great.

Thanks! We really liked Magna, especially as the weather was quite grim. It is a massive building but very cool. And DD2-9 got her Children's University Passport to Learning stamped too, so that was also a plus!
