what do you think of holiday lettings?

is it worth renting out the property as a holiday lettings?i need to generate a bit of income these days.how can I find people,i found some websides to advertise as a holiday homes.Has anyone have any ideas?

It depends what you have and where it is. there are home swaps if it is your own home but if it is a second one then an agent seems a good start but they do apparently take a whack of around 20% off you so pick carefully. like all renting it can be a mixed blessing. people expect a lot from a holiday home these days so worth having a chat with someone and getting them to come and visit before putting it out there so you can make sure you have everything people want.
