Hello all
dh is thinking of taking a sabbatical whilst I am still on maternity leave and last night we discussed maybe spending 3 months travelling. Money will me tight so I thought of maybe travelling by car and staying in different campsites maybe in spain and france, maybe getting car ferry to spain and working our way back.
The thought of weaning DD without access to a fridge is a bit daunting. What would you do in this situation? Where would you go? Or would you stay at home and spend time visiting friends with reliable kitchens?

camper van?

PotteringAlong · 03/11/2011 16:33

I'd go! Could you get hold of a motor home?

bunnybunyip · 03/11/2011 16:46

I hadn't thought of that, I'm guessing they would be pricey to hire though.

Weaning wouldn't be too bothersome - just do BLW and dish up what everyone else is having.

What about recommended places to stay? Anyone any suggestions?

Buy 2nd hand then sell it after the trip.

Or, what about a house-swap? Or series of house-swaps?

Or a plug in cool box?
We had one that you used the cigarette lighter thing to make it work.
