Barbados Hotel Recommendations?

We're looking to go to Barbados in late November and need a kids friendly hotel (19 month old and 3.5 yr old). We do like our luxury but Sandy Lane is out of the question price wise right now. Any recommendations? Agent suggested Tamarind - has anyone stayed there with kids recently? What was it like? Thanks

We stayed here quite a few years ago pre DD but had a lovely time. The recent reviews seem quite good too. I would love to go back.

It has great kids facilities too.

We have been going as a family to Cobblers Cove for years with our young children. It is a wonderful hotel with fantastic staff who will look after you and your children perfectly. It is small, safe with a kids arts and crafts room and free watersports. We had our 4 year old waterskiing this year.

I got married at the Almond Resort and the facilities for kids were fantastic for all ages. There are three Almond resorts though so check on tripadvisor for the feedback on all of them.

I enjoyed it so much I booked for us to go to the St Lucia Almond Morgan Bay the following year. That was excellent too.
