Thinking of going skiing at Xmas. Has anyone been with Mark Warner or Espirit?

Hi - we're thinking of going skiing in the Christmas holidays with our DD (5). My DH is French and would like to go to Meribel. Club Med is really expensive, but either Espirit or Mark Warner look like they might be good. I'd be really grateful for any advice if anyone has been there - or just used either or these companies to ski. Have to admit I'm also entertaining fantasies about some winter sun instead! Thank you.....

I've been with Esprit 10 times.

Not to Meribel though, think Meribel chalet opened up last season or the one before. I find Esprit OK. Not brilliant but fine. Food is normally good, has been brilliant a couple of times, was terrible once. Depends on the chalet staff and we had a bunch of slackers one year. Chalets are clean, childcare is good.
