union lido nr venice in May- too cold for outdoor pool?

we are thinking of booking union lido campsite nr venice in mid may - but will it be too cold for outdoor pool and stuff like that? Apparently the average temp will be about 20 degrees.

The pools aren't that deep so shouldn't be freezing. We went in early June and it was roasting hot.

Oh yes, the famous tiger mosquitoes! My inlaws are from Venice so I get eaten alive every year without fail. It's easily the worst place I've ever been so invest in the strongest possible mosquito repellent.

As for the pool, it depends, we went in June last year and the outdoor pool was freezing!
