Canterbury is snowy!

Just come back from Canterbury. The area around the cathedral looks so christmassy, and there was a good few inches of snow on the ground - quite enough for snowball fights and snowmen building. More snow was falling when we left.

So if you live in the south east and are in search of snow tomorrow, go to Canterbury!

Your post has brought back memories of special night I spent with my ex at the University. It was snowing that night and his residence looked out onto Canterbury with the Cathedral all flood lit and snowy. It was really magical.

ahh... I have similar memories of Cambridge, my hometown, at christmas (different man of course)

seems a million years ago now that I'm surrounded by a farty dh and screaming children, still the snow takes me back for a few minutes at least
