Looking to meet a friend in or around Stoke on Trent (this being a halfway point between our homes) Can anyone recommend somewhere to go where we can get something nice to eat but where also a 1 year old can stretch legs and have a break from his car seat

Hard to say without a specific area, Stoke is made up of lots of towns so it depends where you'd be meeting :)

Trentham Gardens?

Trentham Gardens has a great cafe/restaurant with ginormo cakes and great children's food. There's the gardens and monkey forest, shops and nice garden centre.

But don't go this Sunday as it'll be full of over-groomed middle-aged mums perving over Steve Backshall at the Deadly Day Out. Grin
