Miracles can happen: I have four days between Xmas Day and New Years Eve when I and my DP can go away together - just the two of us!!!!! We have been together for a year or so and, apart from two days in the summer which we spent at his, we have never had any significant time together (i.e. more than six hours!) without children (who are all lovely, his and mine, but even so.....)
Please can I have some advice/suggestions about what to do?
It could be in this country or abroad - I quite fancy Venice but am I am mad? I would like somewhere where there is stuff to do (walking or culture vulture stuff, nice food is a must) but a HUGE dollop of slushy romance wouldn't go amiss if I am honest....
All thoughts gratefully received (cant go mad on the budget but I can dream so just tell me what you all think)
