Never stayed there but live in the area and it's absolutely beautiful! If you've got a car try going to Castleton for an afternoon too.

Yes we did (2 adults and 2 children 3 and 1years) in the darwin forest lodge with another couple and their toddler and baby. 8 bedded lodge perfect everything you need. Nice little leisure complex, pub and soft play on sight. Great value and really near Chatsworth. Would def go back.
