Has anyone been to Holland? Where is a good place to stay? I've been looking on a few sites but would really want to be near the sea. Any suggestions? We have 2 boys aged 6 and 3. Where would be good for them?
TIA

We have been to a few of the Centerparcs and Duinrell
The accomodation is better at Centerparcs but they are more expensive, but no where near as expensive as the UK ones.
Duinrell is a bike ride away from the beach at Wassanaar, although we went by car. It has free access to the Theme park which is lovely. You can nip in for an hour or so at a time and come and go as you please.
Haven't been to any centerparcs near the beach, but there are a couple I think. We used to go every year from when dcs were your boys age and dcs had a brilliant time. The kids clubs are wonderful and were free at one stage, not sure now.

How about staying in a safari park:

Follow the link to Libema vakantiepark. It's all in Dutch but you can translate it via google

Try the landal holiday parks rather than centreparcs

Zeeland is nice as well as the Waddeneilanden in the north if you want to be near the sea.

Oh yes - I love Landal! We are off to Hoog Vaals at the weekend. Friends have been to Duinrell several times and tell me that it is great.

Duinrell depends on when you are going, in the summer holidays it is very very busy, both the holiday park and the theme park. We went at the end of May (half term) when there were no Dutch school holidays which was great :)

Last week of august is a good time to go as well.

Currently AT Hoog Vaals. This is the 2nd long weekend we have done and there is SO MUCH to do. We have said several times today "oh, we'll do that next time we come" Loads within 30km in 3 countries. website
