Babington House - with or without children?

It's my 40th in January and I've been deciding what to do. Love the look of Babington House and we can arrange childcare for a weekend so thought maybe dh and I would have a weekend there just the 2 of us.

My actual birthday is on a Sunday and I would like to do something with our dc on the day itself. I was thinking about spending the day at The Grove, I could go to the spa, the dc could play and we could all have tea/dinner together. But I'm wondering if this will be too similar to going to Babington which we would do prob in Feb/March. So then I thought perhaps we should go Babington for my birthday with the dc as I see from their website they're quite family friendly.

Does anyone know what the family rooms are like? Would they take 3 children? Our dc are 10, 8 and 4. Do you think this is a good idea or is Babington better for just adults?
