My friend used to work in the Red Lion, I dont know if it's good or not but it's very central.

Have you tried on expedia or Opodo?

There's a Corus Hotel - Rose & Crown, The White Hart which is a Macdonald Hotel so should be OK. There is also a Travel Inn.

Tricky date to find hotel accommodation though - good luck!

or go to the upmystreet website and type in 'hotel' and 'salisbury' in the find a near to section. Gives you a big long list

Ring Salisbury TIC they should have a list og hotels/guest houses with availability over the festive period.

have tried all and no joy. either they (1) are only doing packages for 24/25/26 dec or (2) closed for christmas or (3) only have family rooms or some combination of the above.
