Does anyone have any advice on how we are going to cope with our crawling/falling over always bumping her head baby. We are staying in a house which is totally tiled all over and I am pretty worried as she is all over the place at the moment. There are only so many mats we can put into our suitacse!!

She'll be fine. Mats would skid and slide on a tiled floor and be even worse. Baby knees are tremendously padded things and let's face it, babies native to wherever you're going manage Smile.

Been in same situation! We would put some thickish trousers, I call them "apartment pants" Grin

It was hot, so we made sure DS didn't have a t shirt on. The tiles are always cold so DS didn't overheat. Have fun!

It will be fine, we have tiles on the ground floor and never had any problems when they were crawling. Just accept that crawling babies will pick up ever spec of dirt, even on clean floors.

and don't forget that babies born in hot countries do appear to survive the tiled floors experience
