Title says it all! Particularly interested in October weather details as Feb half term trip may not be possible (flights are already scarce!) Shock

i would say feb much better - season runs till at least Easter and you'll get lovely hot weather in February.

I went Feb half term. The weather was lovely, perfect for all the sightseeing or a spot of sun bathing. Actually the whole holiday was amazing.

Another vote for Feb, Oct can still be quite cold and is notoriously windy! Always tourists in Cape Town, I wouldn't worry about things like attractions closing. Still summer in Feb!

Feb - definitely

Feb for sure!
