Any advice welcome please for maintaining my mental health whilst travelling long haul with a 20month old! we are travelling nz to uk (eek return) so 2 12 hour flights with a 4 hour layover. planning on buying a heap of small cheap toys to bring out when needed but any other ideas?? Also he now drinks normal cows milk - would they supply this on the flight or do i (can i?) bring it myself?

Help any ideas welcome!!!! (we have prebooked the bulkhead seats with bassinette) xx

At 20 months I think your DS may be too big for the bassinettes.
I would try to maintain your normal routine. So at night time, teeth, milk, pajams and bed. The lights tend to be dimmed anyway.
during your day time, try to walk around the plane. I have done several long flights alone with DD, IMO, people would rather you roamed than had a screamy child in the plane wth them.
Good luck.
